How to fix reddit comments not loading ? :iPhone/ Android
Reddit is faster growing community in the work and lots of user are regularly using it, as the app allows you to post your comments and get other opinions on same platforms. Many users are facing issue that reddit comments are not loading. Reddit is showing black screen in place of comments.

The issue is majorly faced by Android and iPhone users who are using the reddit app. This is frustrating as reddit is constantly not loading comments or subreddits. The reddit mobile will not load comments. However the issue is intermittent and the reddit app do load comments some time but won’t load comments randomly.

Fix : Close and Reopen the app
Sometime closing the app and reopening it seems to load the comments properly on the reddit mobile. Restarting the app fixes the issue but seems to be temporary solution. But as a quick fix app restart will fix Reddit comment section.
Fix : signout and login back
The reddit app may not work properly if there is some issue with your account or app , in synchronization with reddit server. To fix that logout from reddit app, reboot the phone and login back to your account
Fix : Turn off Animation
There are reports that Animation are causing the issue of reddit comments not loading. To Fix that
- -Go to settings
- -Use the search icon in the top right corner and enter "remove animations"
- -You should then be taken to wherever "remove animations" is located.

- Go to settings
- Go to Accessibility
- Go to Visibility Enhancements
- Turn off "Remove animations"
Fix : Try third party app
There is a workaround to fix the reddit comment sections which is to load third party app. If you want load, you may try apps like boost for reddit, download it from AppStore and Playstore and this should fix the issue till reddit fixes the problem permanently.
Fix : Check for pending updates
Make sure to keep your reddit app to up to date and install any pending updates to your phone. Generally the new version are more stable and have bug fixed in them.
