In the latest iOS 15 , FaceTime was the main focus of changes in the iPhone and lots of new features are added to the FaceTime, But apart from that many other changes are done in the iOS like to streamline message experience, Apple has created new “Shared with you” feature in Photos app. The feature is added in iOS 15 and iPadOS 15.
The main feature of Shared with you is that it aggregates content that people share with you in Messages into the proper apps. For example if someone has sent a photo in messages to you, it will show up in a Share with You section. You will also have control on what shared content appear in apps, for that you can go to conversation on message and turn off Shared with you.
Why Shared With you is not showing up for me in Photos app : iOS 15/ iPhone 13 Pro Max, 12,Mini, XR,XS Max
Shared with You section, is located in "For You." Of Photos app. Shared with you will save all different type of things like Photos, Safari link, Apple news, Apple music , Apple podcast, Apple TV app for example if a friend sends a movie or a TV show link over Messages, the TV show or movie will appear in the Shared with You.
So if you are not seeing Shared with you section in the Photos app that is probably no one has shared any photo, link, Apple music with you on the messages app. The Shared with you works only on messages app shared things.
As soon as someone shared a supported app link/photo/data with you the Shared with you folder should appear.
