iOS 15 is the latest iOS version released by Apple on 20 Sept 2021 and it comes with lots of new feature and performance improvements. New cool feature are character recognition with camera, ability to start FaceTime calls with Android users, easier sharing in iMessage and better directions in Maps  etc are some of them.

FaceTime which is a quite famous app of iPhone , is also updated to many new features like video conferencing through FaceTime, All you have to do is create Link in FaceTime app and copy and share the link with PC or Android users. . In iOS 15 you will  get a link that you can share by email or messaging.

Apart from this a new feature SharePlay has been introduced in FaceTime on iOS 15 which will let you share your screen with FaceTime call or watch movies, listen music in sync across all devices.  This is such a great feature for FaceTime and hopefully many iPhone users will love it. 

How to do SharePlay in FaceTime / How to listen to music together on facetime:

• Open Facetime app on your iPhone
• Tap "Create New FaceTime"
• Tap the SharePlay icon on the far right of the dropdown menu at the top of the screen.
• Click "Share My Screen"

Why SharePlay not working: 

But lots of user are facing issue with this feature and reporting that the Shareplay not working on their iPhone on iOS 15. iPhone users are not able to find the SharePlayIcon on the FaceTime app.

The Shareplay feature also had issue in the iOS 15 beta release, The issue was Shareplay music, Video, Screen is not working properly. Some of the feature works well with the Shareplay but not all, for example Shareplay music will not work but Screen share on shareplay will work. Or you will be able to share movies on the Shareplay but won’t be able to share screen using FaceTime Shareplay.

But in the iOS 15 final release no Shareplay option is there in FaceTime now. 

How to fix FaceTime SharePlay not working on iOS 15: iPhone 12 , 13 Pro Max/ Mini, iPhone 11 Pro, XR,XS MAX

Many users are not able to find the Shareplay option on the FaceTime app this is due to the delay in feature release. The SharePlay feature of FaceTime will be released in next version of iOS 15. As per some reports there are some hardware related issue in older iPhone version which will take sometime for feature to be available to general public. Till then we will have to wait to use this feature officially.
