Discord Failed to Connect to PlayStation Network and Xbox Live?

Failed to connect PlayStation Network to Discord ?

Recently the Discord has given option to its user to connect to their Playstation Network, and Xbox Account and thus can share lots of information across the platform. You can simply go into Discord setting and link PlayStation account to it. 

But recently many users are reporting issue in linked playstation network, Xbox with discord is failing. The issue is reported with Discord on iOS and Android devices and the linking will not work and gives error “Failed to connect your Playsation Network accounts to Discord”. 

How to fix Unable to link PSN, Xbox to Discord ?

Fix : Child Account 

If your PSN account is a child account , then as per discord policy Discord will not connect with Playstation Network. Make sure you have adult account on PSN network to connect with Discord. 

Fix : Disable VPN 

If you are using VPN in you iPhone / Apple product / iCloud+, then you should turn VPN off for linking PSN to Discord. Turn off VPN on Apple device, iPhone and try linking again and it should work.

Fix : Switch Network

In case you are on Android device and also don’t have a VPN  enabled, Then Try switching the network connection to cellular connection while trying linking between PSN and Discord.

Fix : Try linking from Desktop app

There seems to be issue mobile apps and if you are trying to link PSN with Discord , it may not work. As a workaround try linking PSN to Discord from your desktop and it should work smoothly.

Fix : Turn OFF privacy relay on iCloud

Private relay setting in iPhone/ iCloud makes your connection encrypted and no one can track your IP etc. This may cause Discord linking with PSN and Xbox. Make sure to turn off Privacy realy on iCloud by

Go to Settings > [your name] > iCloud > Private Relay-> Turn off.

Fix : Change PSN / Xbox Settings

Make sure you have enabled all setting in your PSN to connect and share data. Go into your PlayStation privacy settings and allow everyone to see what you are playing, this will fix the issue.

 

Also , Go to PlayStation account management and then it will say "Account Linking". Just  try to disconnect and then reconnect from discord.
