How to fix Roblox Audio Library / Sound Preview not working ?

Many Roblox player are reporting issue with Audio Library not working. Due to this there is no sound in the Roblox which can be annoying for a player. The sound library of Roblox seems to be affected on all different web browsers like Google Chrome, Firefox, Safari on Macbook and Windows PC. Also the issue is seem on the Android , iOS/ iPhone devices – the audio files are unplayable.  This is annoying as the issue is working on one device but not on other. 

Why Roblox audio preview not working ? 

Even if you attempt to preview an audio on the Catalog, it does not play the audio as expected. Although it does not happen every time but the issue is rando and random audio files are not playing in the Audio library. 

How to fix Roblox Audio not working/ Audio preview in Library not playing ?: Chrome, Safari, PC, MacBook, iPhone ,iOS, Android devices. 

Fix : Disable Ad Blocker

One solution to Audio sound not working in Roblox library is  to be to disable all add-ons on your specific browser. Please check if you have any ad blockers in Chrome. Try disabling them and other extensions temporally to see if it fixes the issue.

Fix: Try Test Mode in Studio

If Roblox sound is not working then this could be due to a bug where Studios volume is affected by the player's volume settings.

Go into play test mode in Studio or in any Roblox game, and change the volume in Roblox's Settings-Volume option. 

Fix : Workaround to preview audio files in Roblox

There is workaround to play audio files in Roblox library:

1. Open Inspect Element
2. Preview the audio
3. Once error message is printed in the Inspect Element, press the link that begins with https://cX,rbxcdn.com/, where X is any number
4. Downloading is not required. Refresh the page after clicking
5. Audio preview should be working

Fix : Try different Browser

If Roblox sound is not working on one browser please check it on other browser like Microsoft Edge. It seems to work fine on some of the browsers. 

Fix : Try reinstalling

If you are still not able to load sound library properly in the Roblox, try reinstalling the browsers. First Delete the browser data and clear its cache data. Reinstall the Browser  and check if this works.
