How to fix Discord Mic Not working on iPhone 13,12 Pro Max, iPhone XS,XR, 8/7 Plus, iPad, Safari: iOS 15 (2022)
Fix: Toggle Mute button
It seems like the Mic not working issue on Discord is software glitch on the app and can be fixed by simply toggling OFF/ON on the app. This seems to fix the issue for many iphone users.
Fix : Check discord permission
Due to some updates and changes on iPhone or the Discord app, sometimes the mic permission for the Discord app have turned OFF. To fix that Go to settings and go to Discord and then make sure Microphone is enabled. This is weird that the Discord app doesn’t notify you that the mic is disabled.
Fix : Reset your account settings
If you keeps on changing the Discord setting you might see such issues like mic not working. To fix setting on the app we recommend to reinstall the app.
- Log out from the Discord app
- Uninstall the app from iPhone
- Reinstall the latest version from the Appstore
Fix : Reset iPhone Settings
Due to some software issue in the iPhone the app like Discord may not be able to access the mic feature. To fix that Reset the iPhone to default settings and this will fix any software gltich related to iPhone settings.
Go to iPhone settings-> Reset-> Rest or Transfer iPhone-> Reset all settings. Your iPhone will reboot.
