How to fix Mail list overlapping in Apple Mail app: iPad Pro ?

Apple mail is great way to access all your emails account but recently many iPad users are reporting issue with the email list that two email messages are appearing overlapping on each other. This makes to read the content of email list very hard and visually looks very bad.

The Apple email app had issue in past related to sync etc but the mails overlapping or stacking over each other is new kind of issue in the iPhone.  The issue with all different email servers like office 365, Gmail etc.

Fix :  Delete Junk mail 

There are some reports that suggest that due to full mail box the email overlap issue may occur try to empty Junk mail and then Trash mail, after that force closed email app and then reboot  iPad. 

Fix : Hard restart the iPad

The iPad Apple mail app showing overlapped text could be fixed by a hard reset to iPad, to do that on iPad Pro with FaceId by pressing and releasing the volume up button, then the volume down button then pressing and holding the single button until the iPad screen goes black then keep holding until the Apple logo appears.

Fix : change font size

Try to change iPad font size from accessibility which may improve the issue and many iPad users are facing this issue less with small font size. Please try and check of email stops overlapping in the apple mail app. 

Fix :  Update the iPad OS

Please ensure that you have updated your iPad to the most recent version of iPadOS. Software glitches in the iPad are fixed by Apple in upcoming  release of new version of the OS.  The mail box showing mixed overlapping mails in iPad is reported to Apple and hopefully will be fixed in next release.
