HP PC and laptop are great peformaing devices but in some cases there are issue reported by the users. Like HP OMEN Gaming PC stuttering randomly. Not only Omen Series but also different HP laptop series like Omen,pavilion,Chromebook, Ennvy have stuttering or lagging issue. Majorly the Mine's an HP OMEN 15 with AMD 5800H and RTX3060 seems to be most affected with stuttering issue.

It feels like that the PC is not able to work smoothly and start hanging for few seconds. While on the laptops the stuttering happens often when on battery.
The HP PC are stuttering while playing Games, or even when in stand by mode. When the PC stutters it causes a wired audio glitch and the mouse to stutter and hitch across the screen. The PC slowdowns completely for few seconds but comes back normally later. The PCs are configured with Windows 11 and Nvideo GPU , but still the PC are stuttering or hangs a lot.

Solution 1: Use Task Manager to monitor task
Open Windows "Task Manager", and select the "Performance" tab, and then minimizing the window, until the "stuttering". Then, maximize its window, to see the real-time graphs (CPU-busy , disk-drive activity, network traffic) to look for any "spikes” and processes which are hogging CPU.
Solution 2: Set power profile to High Performance mode
In case you are using a laptop and it is stuttering a lot, Check the power profile that the laptop is in when it's on battery. Try setting it to high performance and see if it helps. If so, edit your on-battery profile settings in Power Options so it stutters less.
Solution 3: Troubleshooting to improve stutter on Laptop and PC of HP
- -Keep the laptop plugged in
- -Use an external monitor – there are chances that the external screen bypassing NVIDIA Optimus that automatically switches between GPUs.
