Many iPhone 12, iPad users are reporting issue with the Siri Commands that Siri cannot make Whatsapp calls. The feature was working fine and suddenly Siri fails to call using Whatsapp. If you ask Siri to make a Whatsapp call to contact it will not be able to find Whatsapp Contact for that number.
For example , If you ask Siri to call James on Whatsapp And Siri responds “Sorry I don't have a WhatsApp number for "James". In some other cases when you ask Siri to make call to a person on Whatsapp it makes it a normal Cellular call to the person instead of a WhatsApp call.

This is a really annoying problem for the iPhone users and resetting the iPhone does not seems to fix the issue. Even disabling Siri and reenabling it is also not helping. Surely Apple needs to look into this and provide a permanent solution.

Fix 1 : Try different voice command for Whatsapp call
If Siri is not making Whatsapp calls then as a workaround try asking Siri in different voice commands like Ask Siri “audio call Dan with whatsapp” or “video call Dan with whatsapp”. This seems to work most of the time.
Fix 2 : First call manully in Whatsapp
Uninstall the Whatsapp from iPhone and reinstall it. After download manually then try to make a voice call from WhatsApp because then WhatsApp will have the microphone access and then Siri can access it. If you make a call to the person you want to call in WhatsApp, that suggestion should appear in the Settings app.
Fix 3: Restore the iPhone
If Siri is not able to call on Whatsapp after an iOS update then the problem coule in software update and to fix any software glitches during the update , you should try to restore your iPhone from iTunes or in DFU mode.
