5 ways to Fix Can’t hear Incoming Calls on iPhone 12 Pro Max

iPhone 12 Pro Max users are facing issue with call audio in iPhone. The issue is when receive an incoming call answer it but can’t hear anything, there is no audio in received call. But while calling other person the audio is fine but while receiving a call there is no audio.

There is no audio on incoming calls with an iPhone 12 Pro Max and iPhone 12 Mini. But this is not only problem with the iPhone with calls, some users are reporting issue with outgoing calls also. These are serious issue with the phones and Apple should address these issue on priority.

Fix 1 : Reboot the iPhone

There can be a minor software glitch in the iPhone that may cause such issues in the iPhone. A simple reboot to the iPhone will fix such issues. Just reboot the iPhone and this should fix. Please note that this step is helping many users but the issue may appear again after some time.

Fix 2 : Check paired device

The answered calls can be routed to paired device to the iPhone like Airpod etc. Please check if you have any paired device to the iPhone and disconnect it. Make sure all devices are disconnected from the iPhone and check if incoming calls sounds ok. 

Fix 3 :  Reset Network Connection

On your iPhone reset the network settings. Go to Settings-> General-> Reset -> Reset Network Settings. This will reset all the connection like network connection, WIFI , Bluetooth connections. 

Fix 4: Turn OFF iPhone Noise Cancellation 

Go to settings app on your iphone. -> Find and tap on accessibility. -> Then tap on audio/visual.-> Now turn off phone noise cancellation if it’s turned on. 

Fix 5 : Replace SIM

If it’s only happening on incoming calls, it couid be a carrier issue, As a last option, this could be issue with the SIM card you are using. Many users are able to fix the issue by replacing the issue with duplicate SIM.
