Jalen Hurts has melted our hearts once again. Not only is the Philadelphia Eagles’ quarterback a sight for sore eyes, but we recently learned that the heartthrob has made history by being the only player in the NFL to be represented by an all-women’s management team. This clever business move says a myriad of positive things about the athlete and his stance on female empowerment—and these attributes have taken his sexiness to the next level.

Hurt’s dynamic public relations team consists of powerful women who make some boss moves on his behalf. His NFL agent, Nicole Lynn, slid in the quarterback’s DMs to shoot her shot at working with the titan. Years later, Lynn is a force to be reckoned with in the NFL industry, having negotiated Hurt’s record-breaking 2023 $255 million contract, making him the highest-paid player at that time. The other women on his team hold positions in brand management, marketing and branding, public relations, and media relations.

Jalen Hurts Advocates for Women in Leadership Roles

Hurts’ love for women, especially Black women, is no secret. In his 2023 Essence feature, the star appeared in a video serenading Black women with gratitude. “Thank you for being you, for showing up the way they should do, for being trailblazers, for being loving, for being resilient,” he stated. Therefore, we are not surprised that the athlete has built an empire with an all-lady squad.

As women are underrepresented in many leadership roles with an emphasis on the sports industry, Hurts’ decision to hire an all-female squad is monumental. It shows his progressive thinking and that he understands that most businesswomen have the reputation of being go-getting, detail-oriented hard workers who are skilled at getting the job done.

“Women are thrusted into positions to have to overcome this, overcome that and they lack the respect that they deserve,” Hurts stated during Eagles’ Women’s Football Festival last May. He continued to expound on his support for women, “I’m here advocating for it, not only in football but in every situation. We all know the woman is the rock of everything.”

Jalen and the Philadelphia Eagles will face off against Patrick Mahomes in Super Bowl LIX on Feb. 9.
