JD Vance, Like Trump, Becomes A Cry Baby When He Hears The Truth About His Racism

One of the most obnoxious things about conservatives is the way they lament how “overly sensitive everyone is these days” while also being easily offended by everything that goes against their values or beliefs. They call everyone “snowflakes” when folks online get riled up over their dog-whistling bigotry — then they turn around and cry when athletes are kneeling during the national anthem or Black people are singing the Black National Anthem at sporting events.

They think it’s unreasonable that people get offended when a man tells women they would be happier in the kitchen than in a career field, but somehow, it’s perfectly fine to wet your star-spangled drawers and start calling for boycotts after a single transperson was featured in a single Bud Light ad. Right-wingers get offended–and legislation gets drafted to ban “wokeness” into white-and-fragile oblivion–but “the left” is engaging in “censorship” by dragging drag-worthy conservatives online, amirite?

Anyway, Donald Trump’s running mate, JD Vance, is the latest MAGA conservative to tell people to stop being offended so easily–but then turn around and whine about an edited Joe Biden clip in which the president told some Trump supporters that they are terrible human beings for cosigning racism.

The President was responding to remarks made by MAGA comedian Tony Hinchcliffe’s racist set during a Trump rally at Madison Square Garden the weekend before Halloween.

Hinchcliffe called Puerto Rico a “floating island of garbage,” said he and his “only” Black friend carved “watermelons” together for Halloween, and said Latinos “love making babies,” hate “pulling out” and “come inside, just like they did to our country,” among other untrue and offensive things.

One day later…

It took less than 24 hours for Vance to show the depths of his hypocrisy.

Here’s Vance reacting to a selectively edited Fox News clip that showed Biden calling racist Trump supporters “garbage” in response to Hinchcliffe’s “joke” about Puerto Rico:

“This is disgusting. Kamala Harris and her boss Joe Biden are attacking half of the country. There’s no excuse for this. I hope Americans reject it.”

In the clip Fox aired, Biden is heard saying during an interview with VotoLatino, “The only garbage I see floating out there is his supporters.”

According to a full transcript of the interview, Biden actually said, “The only garbage I see floating out there is his supporters — his demonization of Latinos is unconscionable, and it’s un-American,” which suggests he was specifically talking about Hinchcliffe and other demonstrably racist Trump supporters.

(Which, to be fair, is virtually all Trump supporters — but that’s still not what Biden said.)

Rotten from the head

Here’s the thing: The biggest surprise about the reactions to Hinchcliffe’s “comedy” set during the Trump rally is that anyone is surprised by it.

Setting aside the fact that people from Puerto Rico are actually not migrating by coming to the U.S. because the U.S. continues to colonize the island, making it part of the country, of course, Vance isn’t offended by what Hinchcliffe said. Vance is the guy who endangered the lives of people of Haitian descent living in Springfield, OH, legally and peacefully with his own disgusting lies. Even the city’s police department, its Republican mayor, and the state’s Republican governor had to tell everyone that Vance’s statements were completely false.

Similar measures had to be undertaken after Vance willingly made completely untrue statements (lies) about his home state’s HIV cases, ignoring all the actual data about it in Ohio–just to demonize a group of Black people. That’s his strategy–and Trump’s–about getting their overwhelmingly white base to the polls: put targets on the backs of innocent people of color.

And speaking of Trump, let’s not even get started on his history of offensiveness that should have forewarned everyone of the kind of performance to expect from Hinchcliffe.

Actually, let’s get started on Trump:

Trump is racist because he compares South American migrants to Hannibal Lecter, and calls them “animals” who are “not human.”

He’s racist because he dabbled in eugenics-style scientific racism by suggesting migrants have “bad genes” that predispose them to commit violent crimes.

Trump is a Nazi-esque racist because he lied about migrants bringing “tremendous infectious disease” to the U.S. and said they are “poisoning the blood” of the country.

He’s racist because he wishes the U.S. received more white immigrants from “nice” European countries.

Trump and Vance are racist because they continue to lie about migrants causing a surge in violent crime in America, an assertion that is not remotely supported by violent crime data from any reputable database.

But Vance thinks Biden is “disgusting” for calling a MAGA spade a MAGA spade, right?

SMH. What a snowflake.
