‘Women Lawyers are absolute worst’: Stanford Professor Trashes Camille Vasquez For Sucking Up To Johnny Depp
With the Johnny Depp v/s Amber Heard trial having come to an end, the people involved still can’t get a rest from being unwittingly drawn into headlines. Depp’s lawyer Camille Vasquez has become something of a celebrity herself since the trial aired. She has been offered multiple TV roles since the win and fans are rallying for her to be cast as Mera in Aquaman 2, replacing Heard. Even dating rumours between the lawyer and her client have been doing the rounds against which Vasquez expressed her disappointment. All said and done, it is pretty clear that it’s not just Depp who is in the limelight, but also his lawyer who has got her own fan following now.

It’s not all love and compliments for Camille Vasquez though
With all the love pouring in, there is also backlash. Recently, the lawyer has been brutally criticized by a fellow from the same profession. Internet is at the throat of a well-known law professor for writing “offensive and disparaging” tweets about Camille Vasquez.
According to New York Post report, Stanford Law Professor Michele Dauber took to Twitter last Thursday and shared a screenshot of Vasquez, accusing the superstar attorney of “sucking up to male power.”
In a society that strips women of real power, some women have learned to seek male approval in the hopes they won't be raped or abused or humiliated. Sucking up to power might feel good to you but it won't work. You will be next.

She further added, “Of all the women who suck up to male power, women lawyers are the absolute worst of the bunch.”
“Desperate to prove they are ‘real lawyers’ and understanding that being a woman undermines their identity as lawyers, they throw women under the bus as hard and fast as they can,” Dauber wrote.
The Internet did not take it lightly
The law professor was brutally criticized for her harsh words about Vasquez. Reacting to her tweets, one follower wrote, “If your son was falsely accused of domestic violence, I bet you would love for that woman to help vindicate him.”
Dauber subsequently snapped back and replied, “If my son was accused of DV [domestic violence] he would have a lot more to worry about than some Pick Me Girl lawyer. But that isn’t going to happen because I didn’t raise a [expletive] rapist wife-beater.”
People across the internet are outing Dauber as a confirmed and extreme misandrist and also signing a petition to get the Law Professor fired from Stanford.
I've seen enough of the hateful, unprofessional, absolutely despicable tweets. Have you?

@mldauber , these all confirmed tweets from you? Pathetic. Outing yourself as nothing more than a mouth breathing man hater. @Stanford , sort this extremist out!#AmberHeardlsAnAbuser#JusticeForJohnnyDepp#MenToo pic.twitter.com/8s7yC7O8jP

We denounce bullying and harassment; it has NO place in the #JusticeForJohnnyDepp community.
That said, we have reservations RE these tweets. Does @StanfordLaw’s Michele Dauber have PROOF this was a #JohnnyDepp supporter, or is she making ASSUMPTIONS and BASELESS ACCUSATIONS? pic.twitter.com/Eid6M17yuz

The fans really did stand up for their latest law sensation. Meanwhile, Vasquez would soon be representing Depp again in July during the trial of an assault case levied against the Pirates of the Caribbean actor by a former crew member.
