‘Why’s The Theater Empty On Opening Night?’: How Fans Are Trolling Jurassic World Dominion
The early reactions to the latest Jurassic World film are in, and it looks like the franchise is coming to an end. Jurassic World Dominion was widely panned as a letdown—but this may be because a lot of people wanted more from Colin Trevorrow. In any case, critics have called it a powerful aesthetic experience and praised its clever use of nostalgia by reuniting cast members from across the franchise’s twenty-year history. But it seems like the viewers and Jurassic World fans are not really happy with the portrayal of the last film of this saga.

Jurassic World Dominion Is More About A Monster Movie
Dominion is more of a monster movie than being a dinosaur movie. With that being said, the new film from director Colin Trevorrow isn’t all about dinosaurs, though. There are various other kinds of creatures in its violent video footage, and you might think they’re only being used as scenery while the main plot takes place. So, why did they show dinosaurs in the film? They didn’t really and that’s a problem. In fact, this part of the story could have been portrayed through acting and voice-over at no more than half the film’s budget of $165 million which is what it costs to make feature films like these.

This Is How The Twitter Reacted –
The Jurassic World: Dominion social embargo has lifted! I saw it a couple of weeks back, but was told I’d have to go to a second screening if I wanted to review it. So, my review for now is simply: why the fuck would I ever put myself through that again

JURASSIC PARK: Immortal classic, flaws and all. Unbeatable.
THE LOST WORLD: Mean, not as good, still mostly rocks.
JP III: Silly B-movie fun! Tight runtime! Talking raptor good!
JW: Bad, but watchable.
FALLEN KINGDOM: Fuck off.
DOMINION: Fuck off again.— Chris Evangelista (@cevangelista413) June 8, 2022

JURASSIC WORLD: DOMINION wildly misjudges what anyone wants from this series. instead of dino’s feasting on humans in cool locations or whatever, it’s mostly about bugs, farming and crop failure. it feels like sitting through 65 million years of evolution in real time. Horrible. pic.twitter.com/bT94QrJFBG

I just saw Jurassic World: Dominion.
It was better than the last one, but that one was like a Syfy Channel original movie with a bigger budget, so that's a low bar. pic.twitter.com/MgDpohABkq

JURASSIC WORLD: DOMINION is atrocious. Truly rare to see a movie this constantly ridiculous that's also mind-numbingly boring.

With that being said, the makers behind Dominion clearly had the luxury of a large budget and great CGI and animatronics available to help them make a movie. But it seems like they were quite unsure of which script they wanted to pay attention to as one scene comes off with a similar feel to a classic Jurassic World film (and fewer dinosaur attacks) while other scenes are far too cartoonish and monsters-friendly.
Rest, let’s see what all magic it does over the Box Office.
