How to fix iPhone 13 Stuck on Lock Screen/ Can't Swipe Up ?

 How to fix iPhone 13 won't unlock with FaceID / Freezing on Swipe Up ?

iPhone 13 is flagship phone from Apple with lots of new hardware upgrades etc. But recently many iPhone 13 Pro users are facing issue while unlocking the iPhone that iPhone 13 is not getting unlocked from FaceId. This is very annoying as the earlier models of iPhone works smoothly. swipe up to unlock a new iPhone 13 Pro does not work intermittently and the iPhone 13 screen freezes completely.  Not only iPhone 13 but some iPhone 12, iPhone X, iPad is getting stuck on lock screen and won’t unlock with FaceId and keypad is not appearing.

Even the Keypad does not seems to appear to unlock iPhone 13. The lock screen of iPhone 13 seems to be frozen and stuck and users can’t swipe up to unlock the iPhone. This seem to be a software glitch in iPhone 13/ iOS 15.2 and the issue is intermittent. This is annoying as iPhone is refusing to unlock or slide up from Lock Screen

How to fix iPhone 13 Freezing on lock screen/ FaceId not working : iPhone 13 Pro Max, iPhone 13 Mini, iPhone 12,XR,XS,iPhone 11/8/7 Plus/ iPad Pro  / iOS 15.2 

Fix : Swipe up and hold 

If iPhone 13 is frozen on the lock screen and not unlocking then to fix that try to  Swipe up from the bottom edge of iPhone and pause and hold in the centre of the screen, then lift your finger. This is simple to fix iPhone 13 stuck on lock screen , Just Swipe up, hold your finger there on iPhone for a second or two and FaceId will work and the apps appear.

Fix : lock and unlock the iPhone

There is a workaround to get your iPhone 13 unlocked, which is to lock the phone again, then wake the screen to unlock again in order to get to the home screen.

Fix : Tap on Spotify

If you have Spotify like music app installed on the iPhone then you can also tap on the Spotify to get into the iPhone. This is a workaround but still works for many iPhone users who are stuck with the issue. 

Fix :Hard restart iPhone 13

The lock screen freezing issue in the iPhone 13 could be due to glitch in the iOS software. To fix that please hard reboot the iPhone. For hard reboot 

Press and quickly release the volume up button

press and quickly release the volume down button,

 then press and hold the side button. 

When the Apple logo appears, release the button.

Fix : Put iPhone in DFU mode 

If nothing works for you to fix iPhone freezing on the lock screen then you may try to restore the iPhone using DFU mode. Please read Apple instruction to try DFU mode in the iPhone.
