How to disable Beep sound when pressing "mute" during a call: iPhone 13/12/iOS 15?

iPhone 13/12 Pro Max is flagship phone from Apple with lots of hardware upgrades , specially the camera of iPhone 13 is brilliant. With iOS 15 there are many features added to iPhones. But apart from these unique features there are some issues that iPhone 13/12/XS users are facing while making calls. The issue is iPhone makes beep sound while muting and unmuting a call.

iPhone making beep sound while muting unmuting calls iOS 15

Every time on iPhone / iOS 15 when you mute or unmute the call there is loud beep sound. Imagine you are in conference call and want to mute and unmute the call many times, the iPhone will beep every time and the beep sound is very annoying, but good thing is the person on the other end of the line doesn’t hear it. There needs to be a way to disable this beep sound in calls.

Beep sound while muting calls is a feature from Apple side which might prevent accidental muting when sticking the phone in pocket. But Apple should let iPhone user decide whether to use this beep/ping sound,  Probably this feature should just be tied to the ringer switch like all other system sounds settings.

Solution to stop beep sound while muting unmuting a call: iPhone 11/12/13, iPhone XS Max,XR,X,8, Plus / iOS 15.1

: Report issue to Apple

Since beep sound while muting and unmuting a call is not a bug but a feature in the iOS 15 so for a permanent fix you should report the issue to Apple. Unfortunately there is no workaround or fix to stop the beep sound. But you should report the issue to apple so that maximum users response can reach to Apple and they will probably fix this in next iOS update.  Also please ensure to update the iPhone to latest iOS 15 version if pending for your iPhone.
