Fix Can't Share Tickets and Passes from Apple Wallet: iPhone ?

Apple wallet comes up with lots of new feature and help you store and manage your cards and passes in a more secure and private way. The data is linked to Apple Id so you can manage the cards,passes from anywhere anytime.

Wallet allows you to share passes by AirDrop, iMessage, Mail, or with third-party mail, messaging, or other communication apps. Many iPhone users are facing issue in transferring tickets. iPhone users are  no longer able to “Share Pass” in my wallet app tickets . There is no option to Share or transfer the ticket. Usually if you tap on a ticket you should see a three-dot icon in the upper-right corner and after tapping on it you should see the option to share the Tickets on Apple wallet. But it seems that after the latest update option to share the tickets is missing from the Apple wallet.

Fix 1 : Check Pass Provider information 

As per the Apple documentation , “Not all passes can be shared.” So please check if your pass is eligible to be shared. [More read]

If you are not able to share a pass then please note that the Wallet allows you to share passes by AirDrop, iMessage, Mail, or with third-party mail, messaging, or other communication apps. If you use a third-party app to share a pass, the sharing will be governed by their privacy policy. 

To share a pass that is managed by the pass provider, your device may let the pass provider know that the pass has been shared. For example, if a pass is valid for up to four guests, your device may let the pass provider know the number of times the pass has been shared, to allow the pass provider to enforce the pass limit.

For example: 

You cannot share a ticket or pass further if anyone else have sent it to you, depending upon restriction of pass provider. Please check if you are not trying to share a pass which is shared to you by someone else or shared maxi mum possible times..

Fix 2: Open or install the app related to that pass.

Make sure to install the app related to pass and update it to the latest version. Also ensure that the app have settings to share the pass set to enabled.
