How to fix Eevee name trick not working: Pokemon ?

Many users are facing issue with the Pokemon Go Game, that the eevee name trick not working. When a users named Eevee Tamao to get Umbreon, it just does not work and shows a question mark. Eevee tricks works just once, Otherwise it will be RNG between the Kanto Evolutions. Johto evolutions are controllable, but many users are facing issue in first time itself that the Eevee name trick not working.

The trick lets you force the eevolution by giving a nickname to the Eevee, but when named my eevee 'Rainer', yet it turned into a Jolteon.

How to fix Pokemon Eevee name trick not working:

Fix 1: Walk for 10KM

If you walk an Eevee as your buddy for 10k and evolve at night you will get Umbreon.

Espeon- walk 10km with Eevee and evolve it as your buddy during the day.

Umbreon- Wall 10km with Eevee and evolve it as your buddy at night.

Fix 2: Restart the Pokemon

This is more like a workaround, after renaming it , make sure the game actually changes it and register it. if so, then evolve your Eevee. If the name change didn't stick, change it again and restart again.
