How to fix ATT Voicemail Not Working?

 

Many iPhone users are reporting issue with AT&T that the Voice mail stopped working. The Voicemail suddenly not working for AT&T users. So when someone calls, they hear message “caller unavailable” and doesn’t let the caller leave a message. This should not be case with the voicemails.

How to fix AT&T Voicemail not working : iPhone/ Android Phone 


Fix 1 : Reset voicemail password 


One easy workaround to fix the issue is to Reset Voicemail Password. 


  • -Go to you’re my AT&T account overview and open the My wireless section.
  • -Scroll to My devices & add-ons and choose the device you want to manage.
  • -Select Manage my device.
  • -Under Device options & settings, choose Reset voicemail password and follow the prompts.


Fix 2 : Reset my network settings


On your iPhone / phone please try to do a network reset. This will register all network service again and fix and network glitz.  To reset network on the iPhone Go to General-> Settings-> Reset->  Reset network settings.


 


Fix 3 : Check for any 3rd Party app


Please check if you have not forwarded voicemail to any 3rd party app in your Phone. If any such app is placing such forwarding then voice mail will not work on AT&t
