How to fix Take Snapshot of Bidoof not working: PokemonGoQuestions / Take a snapshot of your buddy - Not Working?: pokemongo
Fix 1 : Go to Pokemon first
If you go on to your Pokémon, then the camera at the side – rather than snapping it before you catch it, that worked for me!
Fix 2 : Take a picture of one in your inventory
This is more like a workaround, Take a picture of one in your inventory, not a pokemon caught in the wild. After this you should be able to Take a snapshot of your buddy.
Fix 3: Try disabling file/storage permissions
To fix snapshot of Bidoof not working , Try re-enabling camera and storage permissions for Pokemon Go and try taking the Snapshot again as a last resort. If the issue continues then you should try to reinstall the app and check the issue again. Hopefully this will solve the issue.
