iPassword app not working in iPhone/iOS 14

After updating to latest iOS 14.6 many password are lost from the iPassword app. iPhone and iPad cannot open “iPassword” app so can no longer get to any of my password information and receives a notice saying the developer needs to update the application.

Restarting the app or the iPhone does not seems to help. Also some iPhone users used backup extractor to restore the password in iCloud backup but that does not work as well. This is annoying and trouble making issue in iPhone /iPassword app. In below possible fix/workaround we have listed steps to recover password from iPassword.

How to fix iPassword app not working in iPhone 11/12 Pro Max, XS,XR,iPhone 8,7,6s /iOS 14/14.5/14.6 :

Fix 1  : contact App developer

If you have lost password of an app then easy to recover that is to contact the app support or app developer. The app may not be compatible with the new iPassword and the app needs to update as per new iOS standard. Also make sure to update the app to latest update available in AppStore for which you have lost password in iPassword.

Fix 2 : Downloaded iMazing

1) Downloaded iMazing (this gave me the assurance that I was not going to lose the data if I can make a copy of it and move it around).

2) Downloaded the ipassword app to my PC using the iMazing software.

3) Used an older phone (iPhone 6) to upload the app using the iMazing software.

Hope these fix help to recover password from iPassword app.
