Facebook playing video in background even when app is minimized [Fix]

Facebook is really a very common platform now a days to get social media access and marketplace and also watching videos. But many Facebook app users are reporting issue that while watching a video if you try to minimize the FB app, the video sounds keep on playing in the background. The situation is sometime even worse that even if you lock the iPhone / Android phone Facebook video sound will keeps on playing in the background. 

How to fix Facebook audio playing in the background

The issue is seen across different iPhone 12,11 and OnelPlus, Android phones that while playing any video in Facebook, if you minimize the app or switch to a different app , Video will still play in background even you force to do stop the Facebook app. Also Sometime the Facebook is playing random videos playing in the background.

Fix 1:Lock and Unlock the Phone

If Facebook is playing sound even when minized then easy workaround to fix the issue is to lock you phone and open the fb app gain then only fb background video will stop 

Fix 2:  Reinstall the app & clear the cache

Facebook playing video in the background can be issue in the Facebook app or software glitch. To fix that you should uninstall the app and reinstall it again from Appstore/Playstore. Also clear cache of the app before installing the app again.

Fix 3: Update the Phone 

Other way to fix the issue is to keep your phone and Facebook app up to date. Please check for any pending updates for the Facebook and the phone model.
