iPhone 12 Pro lags/ stutter when minimizing or closing apps

IPhone 12 pro max is the latest flagship phone launched by Apple. The iPhone 12 is latest hardware powered phone from Apple. And does a great job in running high end apps. But many iPhone 12 pro users are facing issue with the phone that I want to help relax while switching, minimizing or closing the apps.

Who is trying to minimizing aps (swipe up from the bottom) gets that transition to lag/stutter. The issue is random what is happening with very high chances like 20 to 40% of times which makes it very annoying and also the issue is happening irrespective of the apps. The iPhone gets stuck on the transition quickly and then continues going. Even on the latest iOS 14.4 the iPhone 12 Pro is stuttering a lot. There is also stutter when swiping to App Library or launching some Apps in iPhone 12.

iPhone 12 Pro UI lags and stutters does not seems to be a hardware issue but a software issue, as the issue can be seen across different iPhone models. Upgrading the iPhone to latest iOS 14.4 seems to fix the issue for a while but after some days the issue appears again and iPhone 12 keeps on lagging on app switcher.

How to fix iPhone 12 Pro Stutter while closing apps:

Workaround : Keeps less number of background apps

As mentioned earlier this seems to be an issue with software in iPhone 12. There are some report that iPhone 12 pro memory management is having some issue and therefore causing status while clearing the apps. When is the background to avoid status issue in iPhone 12 pro is to clear the air frequently and do not let a letter of apps running in the background.

Workaround 2: Reset the iPhone

Other way of getting rid of starting issue in iPhone five pro is to reset the iPhone to default setting. This will not erase any data from your iPhone but make the settings to default. Go to your settings apps general and then tap on reset iPhone, your iPhone will reboot.

Workaround : Toggle Zoom setting

The stutter issue is particularly noticeable when scrolling through the home screens, instagram, safari, YouTube,  facebook or playing video. However there are no permanent way to fix these issue in iPhone but there are some troubleshooting steps that might help you to fix stutter issue on iPhone 11.

Open the Settings app-> Tap on Accessibility->Tap on Zoom ->Tap the toggle next to “Follow Focus” to disable the setting

As total issue in iPhone 12 is specific to iOS, therefore we recommend you to always upgrade your iPhone to the latest version of iOS 14. If the issue is not getting fixed for you in upcoming releases of iOS 14 then you should put the issue to Apple.
