Some uses also reported after updating to iOS 14 they also see calls dropping frequently when on wifi. In this article we have explained new privacy features for Wi-Fi in iOS 14 and what is privacy morning in iOS 14 for iPhone.

The privacy is a new feature in iOS 14 for Wi-Fi networks. Using a private Wi-Fi address doesn't affect how you join or use most Wi-Fi networks. Connect to Wi-Fi as you normally do.

As using same MAC address to connect to a Public WIFI can let network observer easily relate the device and track users. To reduce this privacy risk, iOS 14, iPadOS 14, and watchOS 7 use a different MAC address for each Wi-Fi network. The iOS 14 will create a static unique MAC address for one network only.

How to fix/remove Privacy Warning for WIFI in iOS 14: iPhone 11, iPhone XR, XS, 8,7 Plus

Solution 1: Turn private address off or on for a network

If your device joined the network without using a private address, a privacy warning will appear in front of WIFI.

Enabled private WiFi address. Toggle is further down. That will get rid of the warning.

Open the Settings > then tap Wi-Fi > Tap i button. >Tap Private Address.

After turning Private address the Privacy warning from iPhone/iOS 14 will disappear.

Solution 2: Router issue

The warning can persist if your WiFi router is not set to or does not support secure DNS. Contact the manufacturer of your router to see if your router supports it and how to turn it on.
