Cellular data not working iOS 14 : iPhone 11/X [Solved]


Many iPhone users are facing issue that after updating to iOS 14 cellular data is not working on their iPhone. Due to this issue internet is also not working on iOS 14. Cellular Data Connectivity issue is also seen in latest  iOS 14.0.1.

  • Try iPhone Restart / Force Restart
  • Toggle roaming in cellular settings
  • Reinsert sim / use a different sim.
  • Reset network settings

Fix 1: Turn off VPN service


If you are using VPN in your iPhone then there are chances due to VPN services like Norton Web Protection it's causing mobile/cellular data not work properly. Turn off the mobile data and check of it works. This seems to be a major problem as in iOS 14 cellular data is not working if VPN is on.


Fix 2: Full reset iPhone


Iphone is now not connected to LTE or cellular, mobile data is not working on iOS 14 then potential fix for the issue is to reset the full iPhone go to general -> reset, then reset the iPhone. It will not clear your DB but  but all the settings like  Wi-Fi addresses their password will be lost. 


Fix 3: Update iOS 14



Even if mobile data is not working on your iPhone updated to iOS 14, then there is a probable chance that the issue is caused by iOS 14 update, bug.  You should report the issue to Apple and wait for a permanent fix in upcoming releases of  iOS 14.
